About Us

The experience and perspective behind Orange Home.

Welcome to Orange Home

My path into residential design and renovation began in the early 1990s with a duplex renovation in Washington, DC. Since then, I’ve worked on a wide range of homes—from historic row houses in Georgetown to historic Spanish-style residences in Coral Gables and Bahamian cottages in Coconut Grove, as well as a beach condominium and a lake cottage near Asheville, North Carolina.

For many years, this work grew alongside a career in the technology industry in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Renovating my own homes gave me hands-on experience with every part of the process—design, planning, permitting, budgeting, and construction—and a clear understanding of how complex and fragmented renovation projects can become.

In 2018, I retired from the technology industry to focus fully on this work and founded Orange Home Design + Renovation. The firm was built around a simple idea: homeowners deserve a better, more coordinated way to renovate. Rather than asking clients to manage designers, architects, engineers, permit expediters, and contractors separately, we bring the entire team together under one roof.

By managing every phase of a project — from early design and space planning through approvals, construction, and final details — we simplify communication, reduce unnecessary costs, and keep projects moving smoothly. Our goal is to shield our clients from the complexity of the process, while delivering thoughtful design and high-quality construction.

Helping others create homes that reflect how they live has become the most rewarding part of my work. If you’re exploring a construction or renovation project and looking for an experienced, hands-on team with a focus on design and quality, I’d love to speak with you.

Thank you for visiting Orange Home. I look forward to learning more about your home.
